With New Music Monday in full effect over at CYM, it comes as a very nice surprise to see that Gramatik, the electro funk lovin’ pioneer, has dropped a most fitting announcement of North American tour dates for 2015! Noticeably showin’ love to places he skipped out in his last ‘Leave Your Mark’ tour […]

As we made our descent upon the old desert town of Tucson, Lauren and I were riddled with uncontainable excitement. Though it’d be my second year of the festival and Lauren’s first, our levels on the stoked factor were just as equally off the charts. After 12 hours of driving, the sight of a landscape […]

If the kick ass shenanigans that ensued at last year’s BUKU Music + Arts Project are any indication of what’s to come, we can only imagine what’s set to go down in Nawlin’s this March! The stages, the pop-up street performances, the after parties that never ended – ready yourselves for the BUKU experience of […]

The beauty that is known as Art Outside was held last month from October 24-27th just outside of my unofficial, but beloved home of Austin, Texas. With 2014 commemorating the homegrown festivals’ 10th year anniversary, I was more than excited to see just how my favorite gathering planned to celebrate. Although this year’s AO would […]

Though we’re always first to pack up and head to a music festival at the drop of a hat, we’ll also be the first to admit that it can be disheartening seeing the same tired headliners grace lineups, flier after flier. You can never see your favorite artist too many times. But wouldn’t you rather attend a […]

Since my last outing to the 1Up in Denver, I’ve come to look forward to the emerging and consistent talent that Re:Up Wednesdays offers week after week. Most recently, 1Up’s stage was graced by the likes of electro-soul producer Barrett Richards, better known as Kastle, and Tasmian-born hip hop producer Ryan Farrington, also known as Akouo. […]

Hitting up a sold out show at one of the best venues in town on a Wednesday night is not usually of the norm, but Re:Up Wednesdays, which is hosted weekly at the 1Up on Colfax, is on a relentless mission to change that. Bringing in festival headlining/chart topping artists week after week for an […]

[Written by Craig Hamilton and Orry Lawrence] Gearing up for a thirty-three hour drive with almost 2,200 miles ahead, my first experience with Shambhala Music Festival awaits. The Shambhala gathering was placed on my bucket list after the release of their advance artist lineup this year, and the countdown has finally begun. With zero corporate […]

Northern Nights was incredible, and everyone including myself were blown away by the execution and atmosphere at this 2nd year Northern California Festival. Usually at a typical music festival, I end up halfway through the weekend longing for the basic comforts of life as I trudge my way through an endless expanse of blistering sunshine and sprawling campsites; […]

Headlined by Thievery Corporation’s Rob Garza, the evening promised to be one full of reinvigorating and sexy House balanced with healthy doses of hyped up, electro goodness and down-tempo ambience provided […]
