Project Aspect‘s latest 3-track EP Cortex is brief yet brimming with heavy bass. Based in Denver, Project Aspect draws influences from a variety of genres and the EP is definite proof of PA’s love for hip-hop, glitch and of course, dubstep. Each track is full of dubstep’s classic syncopated rhythms and all those groovy sub […]

Upon first glance, the flier for The Pirate Party is so staggering you can’t help but snicker. Names are stacked so high that by the 5th or 6th line, you’re squinting to read. But this epic weekend is no joke – this is the heaviest hitting lineup Pirate Party has ever had, and we’re beyond […]

Yesterday I awoke with the kind of excitement that only Christmas can bring to a child, yet it was something entirely different happening for me on this particular day. Today was officially CHANCE THE RAPPER DAY, or at least in my world, and with it landing on taco Tuesday as well, I was overwhelmed with […]

The city of Boulder, Colorado was treated to a stack of extraterrestrial performances headlined by glitched-out bass wizard Thriftworks last Friday night, and it was a dope kickoff to Boulder’s Spring Break crowd. Hosting the show was the Boulder House, an art gallery turned music venue that is intimate, spacious and pretty laid back. As usual, […]
