Slangin that electro-soul flavor, The Fox Theatre was blessed last Friday with divine sounds from Daily Bread and Break Science. The night was filled with new tracks, heavy hitting favorites, and an unlikely collab that felt like a truly special gift to Colorado music fans. I arrived to the Fox to a synthy mix of […]

Hip-Hop
Initially making a splash in the underground indie scene through sites like BandCamp and SoundCloud, it’s safe to say Cuco is making huge waves in 2018. His newfound success has seen him opening for mega band Portugal. the Man, getting his own documentary on Fader, playing high scale festivals like Coachella, and most recently, […]

Well known and loved within the visionary art realm, Morgan Mandala emanates an otherworldly talent through her unique squiggles on various mediums. During the on-site collaboration of a yet-to-be-named piece at Electric Forest last summer with Randal Roberts, Sweet Melis and Krystleyez, we experienced her charismatic energy in the moment. This work illustrates a story […]

Anytime you find yourself at the Fox Theater in Boulder, you’re bound to have a good time. Parking isn’t much of an issue and there are nice little food and drink spots all around the area (including an Insomnia Cookies down the street which is open until 3am). The theater is clean, organized and brings […]

Last night I ventured up to Boulder to hit the Fox Theater for a show by one of my favorites, Badbadnotgood. The 4 piece band have always had a loyal following since their start, but it seems more and more people are getting hooked on the beauty they create. Fusing hip-hop flavors, dark guitar riffs and […]

We have been keeping our ears and eyes on Evanoff, the talented young trio from Boulder, Colorado, since catching them at The Untz Fest Pre-Party and Vertex Festival last Summer. The pace at which their unique sound is growing is phenomenal to witness and their latest single Aesthetic Arrest definitely sets the band in a pocket […]

Funk
In a world known for its ‘dog-eat-dog’/‘every man for himself’ mentality, KMG Life, Inc. seeks to side-step the constant competition which characterizes the music business, through their KMG Colorado Music Showcase. Creating a space for artists to network, to build comradery– is precisely the type of artistic synergy that KMG envisioned when bringing this Showcase to fruition. […]

Although it were a massive, sold out crowd that was beginning to fill the majestic walls of Fox Theater last Thursday, you wouldn’t be able to tell. Radically different from the usual chaotic masses at most concerts, the docility of your average Tycho fan most closely resembles a happily grazing cow – cooperative and content, focused only on […]

Fresh off the release of their latest mix tape, Funk The World 26, the guys who make up Fort Knox Five have been consistently crushing the dance party music scene since their formation nearly a decade ago, and have yet to show any signs of slowing down when reflecting upon the productive summer these guys […]
