Initially making a splash in the underground indie scene through sites like BandCamp and SoundCloud, it’s safe to say Cuco is making huge waves in 2018. His newfound success has seen him opening for mega band Portugal. the Man, getting his own documentary on Fader, playing high scale festivals like Coachella, and most recently, a huge endorsement from Apple Music. With his genuine demeanor and heartfelt dedication, Cuco is bringing something very special to the industry by implementing his Mexican American pride in every production.
Luckily contributing photographer Jacob Feldman was able to capture some of the magic when Cuco played the intimate Fox Theatre last Friday. If you have a chance to see him, we highly suggest doing so – this guy is just getting started. Listen to his latest release, Chiquito, on Apple Music.
