Today marks the release of Kalan Wolfe and The Shift’s new music video, “Make It Out Alive”. Director Aaron Siebol brings the song to life with the cinematic release, giving us an even greater insight into the musical message, starring Elias Alexander (also known as Ramblxr). The scene opens with Elias, in most regards, resembling […]

There’s been a lot of anticipation for this Brooklyn-based artist’s sophomore album. Nick Hakim seems to guess our feelings with the opening track of “ALL THESE CHANGES” which starts off with cinematic strings, casting an optimistic glow around the listener, as they are poised waiting for what will come. With a seamless talent for production, […]

I’m the worst at checking out new music. Usually it’s because there are albums I love enough to play them over and over, other times it’s straight forgetfulness. In an effort to feel better about my own living under a rock, I decided to share my favorite albums thus far of this quarantine period. What better […]

In some way or another, we all want to create an expression of our lived experience. We all desire to translate those feelings into something bigger than the thoughts in our heads. Zach Condon is a person who has that ability to create a musical experience that is at once sweepingly emotional and transportative. His […]

Anderson .Paak is one of those phenomenal characters that has managed to distinguish himself purely by the rasp in his voice…he doesn’t even have to say “YES LAWD” (but we really hope he will) for someone to know who is about to croon soulfully or spit a thought-provoking verse. The latter expression is something that […]

It’s been a good year for Project Aspect: while celebrating 10 years of creating original music, the Denver-based producer has officially released his 6th studio album, Sync About It on October 31st – an album that features his own vocals and guitar instrumentation for the first time. That’s a vulnerable and exciting leap. On top […]

“From Ego Death to their latest release Hive Mind, The Internet prove that they can pretty much do anything.” It’s their first album in three years and yet it feels like The Internet have stepped back in time. The cover of 2018’s Hive Mind looks like an 80’s hip-hop record and each track is bursting […]
