Last week in Chicago, I had the chance of catching Random Rab on his spring tour here in Chicago at the Bottom Lounge. The views from the patio were spectacular, and you could see the entire city of Chicago with a gorgeous view of the iconic Sears Tower and all. Not only were the […]

Fast rising indie dance producer SNBRN is making waves across the west coast. Some may catch similarities in sounds with fellow LiB artist Thomas Jack, but don’t be fooled. SNBRN is blazing his own path with what he likes to call “Sunset House” – a blend of deep house, indie dance and nu disco. With catchy remixes […]

A producer who defies categorization, Mija, aka Amber Giles, is one of the freshest artists we’ve had the pleasure of discovering in recent weeks, and we’re stoked to see her crush it at Spring Awakening this summer. After being signed to Skrillex’s infamously good OWSLA label, Mija has been pushing out special guest mixes such […]

A red and glowing ’13’ hangs above opener Nick Melon‘s head, as deep bass audioscapes mingle with his bone-chilling ambient vocals and consumes the room. He not once glances down at the crowd, yet still maintains a commanding and dramatically awe-inspiring presence. Occasionally with a distant gaze, Melons lifts his face above and into the […]

This weeks’ #NewMusicMonday goes out to Alixir, real name Aaron Bordas, hailing from Colorado originally. This producer has branched out and is now bringing hot beats straight out of Los Angeles, California. Alixir has been producing music for about six years now, and has played several shows in Denver’s music hubs, such as the 1Up […]

Audiohazard Massive was an excellent heavy bass concert to show that filthy dubstep isn’t leaving our music scene without a fight! Getting to the venue wasn’t hard at all, with it being conveniently located in a wonderful part of Queens/Astoria. Featuring some of New York and Long Islands’ best upcoming producers and DJs with major […]

There’s something special about New Orleans. While it’s indisputable reputation as a cultural melting pot definitely aids in its magical pull, there’s a reason herds of people come through NOLA for a taste of the Cajun lifestyle, and on this particular weekend, BUKU Music + Art Project was ours. We started out our first day […]

Hailing from Squamish, BC, Andrea Graham has been producing grimy bass goodness under The Librarian for nearly a decade. Always equipped with an arsenal of glitch heavy tracks, The Librarian blew us away during her double sets at last year’s Sonic Bloom, and we’ve been dying to see her live since! Instead of immediately ripping out […]

With the release of their sophomore LP, In Return, American electronic duo, ODESZA, has taken the world by storm. Odesza is on the last leg of their nearly sold out tour, but earlier in the year they made a stop in the college town of Champaign-Urbana, IL, home of The Canopy Club, for an intimately sold […]

We recently featured CloZee as one of our #WomanCrushWednesday inspirations, and she is now collaborating with another electronic producer, Scarfinger, under the name CloZinger. CloZinger is a further expression of glitch-hop sounds encompassed by the collaboration of Scarfinger’s chill electronic sounds. CloZee is a beautiful and talented female producer bringing the heat to the glitch-hop […]
