Hippie Sabotage made a stop at the Ogden last week on their Chasing the Wild Tour and did not disappoint. The Sacramento, CA duo, brothers Kevin and Jeff Saurer brought the heat for a sold out crowd and even brought vocalist Daisy Guttridge with them to perform the song ‘Chasing The Wild’. Set list also […]

Singer-songwriter Alina Baraz brought her ethereal, melodic sound to Colorado this past weekend and played to a sold-out crowd at the Bluebird Sunday night. The 23 year-old songstress gained popularity after her collaborative work with electronic producer Galimatias via SoundCloud, Urban Flora, made its way into the electronic music scene in 2015. She is currently […]

Once you know me, you’ll soon find out that there are very few things I will drop everything for to pursue, and they all involve food and music. So it might have seemed spontaneous to some, but it made perfect sense to me – The Floozies were in the midst of a Colorado run, and […]

With all of the excitement surrounding the Colorado music scene this NYE, Michal Menert welcomed a SOLD OUT crowd to 2017 with an unforgettable performance at the Aggie Theater, in Fort Collins. As Fort Collins is my college town, I could not have pictured a better way to ring in the New Year than an intimate venue with […]

Minimal Effort Halloween was maximum fun (I wonder how many mediocre bloggers have used that one already)! But actually, Minimal Effort last Saturday was a great event. It is clear that they did not sell as many tickets as they wanted because LA Center Studios was practically empty, but this allowed the people who did […]

We came, we danced, we got freaky. Hands down, BangOn! still takes the crown for throwing the best warehouse parties. From the production, to the performers, to the jungle gym like structures to climb on, all the way to the music and the games, and of course the sea full of costumed patrons ready to […]

Templo, one of the hardest working musicians in the industry just dropped his seventh EP within the last three months titled Icarus. In the spirit of the Greek myth from which the album derives its name Templo immerses you deeply into a labyrinth of meaning and mythology. Somehow, having put out as many songs as […]

I’d been waiting all month for last Friday night, and once it had finally arrived, I knew I wasn’t alone in my anticipation. Arriving to the Ogden Theater just before 10pm, there was already a long line of anxious patrons lining the block, and despite the cold, smiles were plastered on every face. The lineup […]

It isn’t a surprise that Fridays are the sexiest night of the week for most Denver residents, and with such a plethora of beats in town, it makes a whole lot of sense. This was the case on the weekend of September 23rd, when UK duo Snakehips would be taking over the Gothic Theater for an […]
