An Honest Look at Texas Eclipse: The Good, The Bad and The Beautiful It is hard to wrap my mind around where to begin with the Texas Eclipse Festival. Before the festival even ended there had been so much press about it that attempting to address you, the reader, on a blank and un-biased slate […]

There is a feeling in the air, isn’t there? Whether conservative or left-leaning, we feel ourselves in the midst of a great-happening. As I sit here typing these words, multiple states have joined in a “showdown” at the Texas border in a dispute between the president and the governor. Political unrest has never been greater, […]

Imagine Festival was a secret kiss planted on the lips of the new age. Deadmau5 receiving artist of the year by Rolling Stone back in 2012 stands out in my mind as the point in which EDM emerged fully into the mainstream. Since then, we have witnessed the proclaimed death of dubstep, as well as […]

I’ll be blunt: Android Jones is one of the most important artists alive, right now. Despite whatever contrived statement I could make about how he is “killing the art game,” and about how “his shit is so next level,” which it literally is, any reasonable conversation of his achievements must necessarily include phrases such […]

Templo, one of the hardest working musicians in the industry just dropped his seventh EP within the last three months titled Icarus. In the spirit of the Greek myth from which the album derives its name Templo immerses you deeply into a labyrinth of meaning and mythology. Somehow, having put out as many songs as […]

France has long been at the forefront of producing some of the most progressive artists in electronic music. A few names that immediately jump to mind include Justice, M83, and of course Daft Punk, artists who have emerged producing an original sound completely of their own. As electronic music has emerged into the mainstream much […]
