As one of the last Red Rocks shows of the season, it was with mixed emotions that I showed up to what’s become my favorite venue last Saturday. Bittersweet, heavy-hearted yet ready to boogy my ass off – these are the trail mix of feels I was experiencing if you’d like to get in my […]

Beats Antique is back with an album that spanned the Earth in search of the sound for its creation, an album built upon the sound that they have spent forming together and then explored in a way that can only come after ten years of production and mastery. The name of the album is Shadowbox, and in […]

I’d been waiting all month for last Friday night, and once it had finally arrived, I knew I wasn’t alone in my anticipation. Arriving to the Ogden Theater just before 10pm, there was already a long line of anxious patrons lining the block, and despite the cold, smiles were plastered on every face. The lineup […]

Capyac are hot off the stage from Texas’s Utopiafest! A few weeks ago they sat down to talk with me about their mythos, touring through Europe, giant demon puppets, and the people behind WAX – their smash fashion show. Potion and Big Sugz talk about their musical evolution from a genre they call Balloon-Wave to […]

It isn’t a surprise that Fridays are the sexiest night of the week for most Denver residents, and with such a plethora of beats in town, it makes a whole lot of sense. This was the case on the weekend of September 23rd, when UK duo Snakehips would be taking over the Gothic Theater for an […]

As we continue to have tragedies occur throughout the globe and in our own backyards, it’s becoming increasingly more noticeable that the media only focuses on stories that will generate controversy, while crucial issues sometimes receive little […]

Bass Physics are made up of two passionate musicians who have been bringing electro-soul to the Colorado masses since 2012. Arja Adair and Luke Sims have been crafting positive and dance-heavy melodies for years even before meeting, and their artistry shines through when these two hit the stage. They were the perfect act to join Late Night […]

Unlimited Aspect are the combined talents of producers Unlimited Gravity and Project Aspect with the implemention of drummer Steven Kuzma. Performing at the gorgeous Mishawaka Theater with legends EOTO, it was the best end-of-summer party we’d had the pleasure of hitting. Fans from all over Colorado crowded into the intimate venue that lies north of the […]
