With Gem and Jam Festival now only 8 days away, we are stoked to present our #ThrowBackThursday photo gallery for the week. Consisting of Maddy O Neal and Donnie Dalbora, Krooked Drivers possess a hyped and intrinsic energy that enables the duo to churn out endless hip-hop and bluesy beats that refuse to be pigeonholed into any one genre. The result? Massive booty shaking that erupts from any crowd they face. Bred right here in Denver, Colorado, KD are some of the most beloved artists on the scene, and we are so stoked to be covering G&J with them on the stage once again!
Trip back to that magical weekend in the desert with some of our favorite photos from KD’s set at G&J 2014, including shots of another favorite hometown hero, Liam Shea of Templo. Creating completely original productions of downtempo ambience, Templo is a producer we’ve made sure to keep a close eye on over the year. After crushing the festival scene this Summer, Templo didn’t let up as he consistently kept our ears prepped with fresh tunes, releasing 4 EPs by the year’s end, as well as a new single, ‘Spiders’, to top it all off. Initially discovering Templo for the very first time at 2014’s Gem and Jam Festival, we couldn’t be more excited to see him slaying it once again a year later. We’ve had the unique pleasure of seeing both Krooked Drivers and Templo several times since then as well, making our TBT even more special this week.
Feast your eyes and pack your bags. See you in the desert!
