"Do what you love, and share it with the world" — Independent Music & Festival Journal Since 2013

There is a feeling in the air, isn’t there? Whether conservative or left-leaning, we feel ourselves in the midst of a great-happening. As I sit here typing these words, multiple states have joined in a “showdown” at the Texas border in a dispute between the president and the governor. Political unrest has never been greater, […]

Live Music Coverage
The rest of the evening rolled on in a dream-like state, with the band playing fan favorited tracks like ‘Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots, Pt. 1’, ‘At the Movies on Ludes’, ‘She Don’t Use Jelly’, ‘Race For The Prize’ and more. Crumb’s latest single “Trophy” seems to be the final departure from the mood that their first EPs had established: warm and carefree, lush with twinkling pianos and whimsical yet endearing vocals. Instead, “Trophy” is a continuation of the much darker sound Crumb introduced on their debut album, Jinx. 2019’s Jinx solemnly took the listener’s hand […]

Spotlights
It only takes a single look at the work he left behind to realize that Verner Panton was an absolute great. His interior designs challenged countless standards on the market, and are still increasingly relative today. Though mostly inspired by colors and patterns of the 1960’s, Panton’s most celebrated works barely saw any popularity until […]

As I walked up to the front of The Granada, a line of anxious patrons wrapped the entire sidewalk as they waited for the doors to open. The atmosphere was lively and filled with energy, as it had been some time since Glastonbury based Mogwai had last graced the states, much less Dallas alone. I knew […]
