Thaddaeus Timothy is a rare kind of gentleman that you’ll hopefully meet more than once in your lifetime. He has all of the qualities one would be admired of, as he is quirky, fun-loving, hard-working and compassionate. It’s often rare that chance encounters with a person of this caliber would be found in just any […]

This past Wednesday, April 16th, Lotus ended their incredible three night run at the Brooklyn Bowl with a bang. I arrived at the venue around 8PM and quickly noted an atmosphere very reminiscent of the last day during a festival. Everyone I spoke to were both ecstatic in anticipation for the nights’ upcoming two sets and simultaneously exhausted […]

The Clevelander in Miami is without a doubt one of the best party venues there is. Much like the city itself, it exudes sex appeal, ultimately catering to those wanting to let loose for the night. UKF, founded by Luke Hood, began as a way for the college student to share his favorite tunes on […]

Though I’ve seen Shpongle perform many times, I don’t think it could ever be considered the same experience. Whether its performing in a psychedelic tower passing off as a DJ booth, or on a standard plain table, accompanied with a live band and dancers, or just as his wonderfully insane self, Simon Posford has rarely […]

This past Friday, Gramatik, Gibbz and Lowtemp Records held the ultra-sexy world premiere of Gibbzmatik at New York City’s Webster Hall. Originally scheduled at a Brooklyn club called SRB, this show quickly sold out and was moved to the larger Webster Hall. Packed to the brim with eager fans when the main doors opened around 12. Illumntr was up […]

The infamous When in Robe spa dance parties thrown by Mr. Bugsly & the Lowtemp Label have been creating quite the buzz, and the album release party for Gibbz on Friday, March 14 was no different. On the roster for the night was also BRANX, Pomo (his first US appearance!), and resident DJ Subset. The parties […]

Anabell Diaz is what I would call a total babe. Not only is she beautiful, fashionable and business saavy, but she’s self-motivated. She decided to up and move her entire life to NYC in order to pursue her dreams of fashion designing, and has been making moves ever since. Her personal manifesto? “Live fast, and […]

In 2013 alone, the US saw more than a dozen new dance music festivals spring up all over the country. The sudden popularity of EDM exploded with such vigor that it almost happened overnight. Playlists put forth by radio stations across the nation are dominated by electro-house tracks, making avid listeners out of otherwise oblivious […]
