On the eve of Austin’s SXSW, the only place to be on Thursday night was bearing witness to the electronic French duo Justice, composed of members Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay. Returning with their first album in nearly a decade, Hyperdrama, the synth wave pioneers have spent the majority of that time staying busy – premiering a sixty minute live show documentary, releasing remix albums and production collaborations with Miguel and The Weeknd, as well as completing a staggering global tour in 2024. With a similarly sleek feel that lovingly marries art and technology like Denvers’ Mission Ballroom, Moody Center was a perfect candidate to host the incendiary pair. Custom designed video panels with interactive lighting immersed the crowd completely, allowing Justice total control over the audiences’ energy as they flooded our senses with light and sound. For those who have yet to see Justice on their triumph return, I encourage you to take a look at their upcoming tour dates and find one to plan around – these live shows are truly not to be missed.
