East coast funk-hop aficionados Lettuce are blowing plumes of smoke through every stop on the current leg of their US tour. Fresh off the tracks of their 2022 release Unify, the six piece future funk band headlined Denver Comes Alive earlier this month at the Mission Ballroom. As one of the most vibrant music scenes in the country, Lettuce packed out the iconic stop in the Mile High city. The crowd was composed of an even balance of diehard Colorado locals and eager out-of-town music lovers who all grooved their way under the glow of the cool hues past midnight.
Thanks to Live for Live Music for two incredible nights of genre-busting talent, upscale production and immaculate vibes – our first dance under the Mission’s disco ball since Covid has already become a core memory of 2023.
