Big Slide Records is a new, full circle label and collective based out of Seattle, WA. Their fresh compilation, RECESS VOL 1, which will be the first of many, is sweet enough to have our ears craving more. Pairing each release with visual art, every installment drives an aesthetic of euphoria and uplifting sounds – RECESS bestows an endless summer through your headphones. But it isn’t all dreamy pop and washed synths – minimalist trap beats round it all out for good measure. Containing 9 full tracks from the labels’ artists, the mix provides a half hour of blissful and unique soundscapes to give a taste of what Big Slide is all about.
