Celebrating the Odd, Weird, and Bizarre: Denver’s Independent Comic and Art Expo, DINK is Next Week! | April 8 + 9, 2017

Art lovers of Denver, look alive! The best art event of the year is set to take place next week, April 8th and 9th. The second annual DiNK will be happening at the McNichols Civic Center Building, and its the best venue yet. Expect to spend two full days feasting your eyes on legendary comic panels, jaw-dropping installations, live art, graffiti painting, and more. With the year’s theme focusing on “celebrating the odd, weird and bizarre” you can rest assured that your eyes will be treated to some otherworldly art. Underground comics such as Denis Kitchen and the Hernandez Brothers will be attending in addition to special guests like Sarah Glidden, The Sucklord, Foreverscape, and many more.

Many of these art structures have been curated exclusively for DiNK, so these pieces are seriously not to be missed. Over 200 artists will be hitting the Mile High over this weekend and it’s already shaping up to be the best DiNK yet. Denver will be hosting the city’s first exhibition of Foreverscape, also known as the World’s Longest Ongoing Illustration – this piece is actually larger than the Titanic, and will be coming from Portland, Oregon for us to see all of its  hand-drawn glory. DiNK is also inviting you to unleash your weird side too – bring your doggo to participate in the cosplay competition and sign up here.

Join us in supporting Denver’s largest art festival of the year – tickets are still available online and VIP package info can be found here.
