Coming out of the deep Southern city of Houston, Day for Night just blew our fucking minds. Albeit Day for Night hadn’t been on our radar last year, we took one look at the impeccable lineup and sealed our plans to be in H-Town the weekend of December 17th-18th. The return of Irish-born producer Aphex Twin was the delicious cherry on top along with appearances by more legends, such as Butthole Surfers, Little Dragon, TOBACCO, Thundercat, Squarepusher and more. To be honest, the lineup is simply too dreamy to be true with all of the ‘bucket-list’ acts headlining, but we’re crossing our fingers and toes that Day for Night goes off without a hitch!
Their roster for on-site installations is stacked as well, featuring Icelandic artist Bjork, who will be conducting a five room digital experience, Nonotak, a team that have perfected their light and sound collaborations, and many more. Aiming to combine the best of digital art, immersive technology and explosive musical talent, Day for Night is shaping up to be a radical shift in the typical festival paradigm, and we couldn’t be more stoked for December to arrive.
Tickets are already flying, and are just about sold out.
Hop over to the Day for Night official site and lock yours down before they’re gone.
