The Magic Beans, a local band from Nederland, Colorado, know how to throw one groovy party. This past weekend at the Mishawaka Amphitheatre the Beans made sure to make it one to remember. Celebrating the birthday of bass player, Josh Appelbaum, the guys didn’t hold anything back. In words from Josh himself, “Thanks for making my birthday so awesome, we really do have the sexiest fans out there.” The Magic Beans have very loyal fans, and with their crowd participation it always calls for a booty shaking dance party.
The boys played a variety of new music, but a special request from the birthday boy to play ‘Sexy Pizza’, a fun and frisky song about getting naked, was the real highlight. Hearing this song was definitely one of the more memorable parts of the evening, and made the rest of the night that much better – the Magic Beans have a very unique style and it leaves everyone wanting more. Their high energy is contagious coming from Josh’s lively bass playing antics, Scott’s amazing voice, Cody’s bad ass drumming, and Casey’s lush rhythm riding keys.
In addition to their already fantastic performance, they supplied the party with kegs full of their own special beer, called Adonde Mate Pale Ale, you can’t ask for a more custom experience than that
