In just six short days, Red Rocks Amphitheater will be given a hearty dose of sexy funk when Gramatik, aka Denis Jasarevic, throws down for his first performance at the venue since the wild success of his last album, The Age of Reason. Accompanying Gramatik will be Lettuce, Exmag, Gibbz, Illumntr and BRANX, making this to be one of the funkiest performances at Red Rocks this year. Aside from Lettuce, all three supporting acts on this show are all on Gramatik’s own label, Lowtemp. In my own personal opinion, the addition of jam super band Lettuce is sure to turn this show from an awesome spectacle to a must-see event.
There’s no doubt in my mind that this show will go off, as all acts have been on a raging streak all year. From Exmag killing the silent disco at Counterpoint and Gibbz’ collaborating on his freshest new track, (which you can find below), words can’t do this wonderful lineup justice. If you haven’t had the chance to check out The Age of Reason, the 15 song album is perhaps one of Gramatik’s most awesome in my opinion. It is also available for free on BitTorrent, as per Denis’s belief that music should be free to whoever desires to listen, which I can’t help but agree with! Tickets are around $50, including service fees, and are still available as of this post. You can click here to grab yours now!
