OPEN CALL FOR PROTEST ART! For the Reclaim MLK 2025 March, Don’t Shoot Portland is holding an open call for a community collection of works that pay homage to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr’s Dream while addressing todays’ global fight for human rights & justice.
Reclaim MLK is a community focused event that supports our Children’s Art and Social Justice Council, a youth led movement for social change.
Submitted works will be processed into screen prints to be used as protest art during our annual March in January 2025, coinciding with Inauguration Day.
Persons of all ages are welcome to submit work with 5 winners under 21 years of age to be selected to encourage youth participation. Any questions can be sent to [email protected]
