On April 11th, 2022, Los Angeles’ band Cherry Glazerr reached a milestone opening for a co-headlining tour with Portugal the Man and Alt-J at Madison Square Garden. Though the band has seen a rotation of members since its’ inception in 2013, that hasn’t slowed the growth of their die hard fanbase.
Founded by Clementine Creevy, songwriter and lead singer of the band, the only other usual suspect in Cherry Glazerr involves Sami Perez, who has been on synths/vocals since 2018. In past interviews Creevy has shared that Cherry Glazerr is a physical embodiment of her musical endeavors, hopefully meaning that although members are subject to change, we can always rely on Creevy leaning into her versatility over time.
Madison Square Garden is one of the most famous venues in the world. Sitting in midtown Manhattan since 1968, MSG boasts a legendary roster of incredible performances from the Beatles, Stevie Wonder, The Who, Madonna and more. Simply seeing the marquee from 8th Avenue is enough to place goosebumps on your skin, planting an imaginative seed of the night to come.
