It is always refreshing and inspiring to connect with individuals that are making their dreams come true by being genuine to themselves and truly doing what they love. Meet Amber Crouch, an artist from Orange, California, who has captured our eyes (and hearts) with her wonderful pieces of eye-ogling art!
Amber has been creating since she can remember and she cultivates her original pieces of fine art out of anything and everything she sees potential in. Her niche is drawing and painting, whether it be on canvasses, rocks or even pieces of bonfire wood. She uses a range of fine art mediums including acrylic, watercolor, ink, charcoal, graphite, color pencil, markers and even some dabbling hand carving. Amber says she draws her inspiration from a few sources, but the most dominant of these is nature.
Growing up frequently visiting Northern California around the likes of Monterey and Big Sur, she is especially intrigued by the ocean and remembers as a kid being blown away by the landscape, the giant redwoods and the magical shoreline that is the Pacific Coast. Her other source of inspiration derives out of her love of music, specifically reggae, and her talent and passion has not gone unnoticed!
Amber’s custom pieces have been used as designs for bands such as The Dirty Heads, Seedless, and Eye In I, as well as for the California Roots Reggae Festival. She is honored and humbled by the opportunities flowing her way and will be live painting at the One Love Cali Reggae Fest at The Observatory festival next month. If you are around the Santa Ana, CA area on February 13th, make sure to go catch Amber in action. You can also see her at Summer Meltdown Autism Awareness Music and Arts Festival in Santa Clarita in April and we are sure many more to come!
Check out her AmberCustoms and keep supporting those local artists. Keep spreadin’ those good vibes, Amber!
