Get ready for your world to be rocked, rolled and THUNDERED by our #WomanCrushWednesday feature of the week, Thunderpussy. Yes, the name says it all. At least, that’s what we hear, and we sure as hell can’t wait to see what the fuss is all about Memorial Day weekend at Sasquatch Music Festival in Quincy, WA! Thunderpussy is a new, Seattle-grown band comprised of four kickass ladies all with years in the music biz and a stage presence one is guaranteed never to forget.
Molly Sides, vocalist (also member of This Bitch Don’t Fall Off), Whitney Petty, guitarist (Deerhunter, The Grizzled Mighty), Leah Julius, bassist (Cumulus, Sundries) and Lena Simon, drummer (La Kuz, Kairos), make up a band that truly produces raw rock n roll, driven by sex and unadulterated emotion. DList Magazine categorized the band in their “Top 10 Bands On The Come Up” and Seattle Music News calls Thunderpussy the “infamous, Seattle-born, sex-fueled band of lore” in their review after the girls’ sold out show at the Tractor Tavern in Seattle.
These stimulating and talented women are sure to take the rock scene by its’ balls and show everyone what bringing the thunder is all about. Don’t miss your chance to witness the debauchery live at 4:00 P.M., Friday, May 22nd on the Yeti stage at Sasquatch! Tickets here.
