Dynohunter release new tech-house EP ‘Rattle the Cage’ September 26th, 2017 [Stream + Album Review]

Amid Colorado’s heavy obsession with live instrumentals and dance music, it’s fitting to say that Dynohunter has found a formula for producing addictive tech house bangers. Those with an affinity for warehouse grooves will be hard pressed to find anyone doing it as well as Dynohunter, and we think you’ll agree with the premiere of their 2 track EP, ‘Rattle the Cage’. After a recent performance at late night Denver gallery Knew Conscious, the set left a solid impression on me as I joined the sweaty crowd to dance for hours. And that was only a DJ set. As a three piece, Dynohunter genuinely execute a full bodied dance show, with each musician pouring forth pure energy from start to finish. Seeing the full band expertly re-create deep house onstage is seriously mesmerizing.

‘Paparazzi’ is the first to be released of the two track EP, and it is definitely a scorcher that will keep any party bumping strong. Melodic grooves dance along deep, distorted vocals make this our favorite. Live saxophone blazes through the thumping basslines in the title track, ‘Rattle the Cage’, giving the song a darker vibe that makes it particularly carnal. It’s full of the ambient soundscapes Dynohunter wants to create for their fans, and upon listening you’ll be transported there, too.
