The city of D.C. will be playing host to this years’ music and marijuana event, National Cannabis Fest this April 22nd, 2017. Coinciding with the ‘March for Science’ and Earth Day, NCF will bring a crowd of socially conscious and proactive music lovers together in our Nation’s capitol, which is just about the most beautiful thing we’ve heard all year.

Legendary artists Talib Kweli and The Pharcyde will be headlining the stage with openers Kenyatta Hill, Empresarios in addition to plenty more artists and speakers. Toting itself as an music, art and advocacy festival, National Cannabis Fest is implementing educational panels, activism and vendors to turn RFK Stadium into a place for community nourishment.

The festival’s education and advocacy programs aim to inspire and encourage entrepreneurs in the MMJ industry, such as the CannaTank competition. Much in the way of Shark Tank, the organization will grant $1,000 to a canna-business owner towards their own startup. Add in all of the panels, demonstrations and other award ceremonies and you’ve got a full day ahead of you at NCF.
