There are two grasses of Winter and Wonder that we just have to take part in this year. We are talking about the WinterWonderGrass festivals taking place next year. The first of the two happens February 24th-26th, 2017, in dreamy Steamboat Springs, Colorado, BUT IT IS ENTIRELY SOLD OUT (Yeah, bummer if you don’t have your tickets). I mean, a weekend in mountain paradise featuring shows from Railroad Earth, Leftover Salmon, The Infamous Stringdusters, Elephant Revival, Fruition and SO many more sounds like an ideal weekend to us.
Good thing there is an opportunity for a second round of WonderGrass in the equally beautiful North Lake Tahoe at Alpine Meadows in Squaw Valley, California, March 31st- April 2nd. This Grass features a just as awesome lineup with sets from Greensky Bluegrass, Yonder Mountain String Band, The Infamous Stringdusters, Leftover Salmon, Sam Bush Band, The Lil’ Smokies and more. Both festivals are based around the best in bluegrass, Winter mountain goodness and over course, tasty funkin’ brews. An added bonus is that both fests have also set goals to be completely Zero Waste in 2017 with lots of hard work, awareness and dedication. Wahoo!
