5 Artists To Catch at the 11th Annual Sonic Bloom: June 16-19, 2016

Tickets | Event page

Sonic Bloom is just around the corner, and they’re bringing talent from all over the world for their 11th anniversary. Artists we’ve been patiently waiting to witness will finally reveal what they’ve got in store for us Sonic Bloomers, and the wait is nearly over! Sonic Bloom’s unique curation of art, blissful live painters, musicians and exotic dancers really make the festival second to none.  Located in the breathtaking town of Rye on June 16th through the 19th, Sonic Bloom is definitely a gathering you don’t want to miss! Make sure to catch these 5 performances during this year’s 11th annual Sonic Bloom.

Tipper
Tipper will be returning with a two day banger guaranteed to melt
faces, so to say we’re hyped for his performances is an understatement. Dave
Tipper is pulling in fans from across the world to attend these
magical sets, and we can only imagine what kind of mind bending
production he will bring to the stage. Tipper was the first official headliner announced by Bloom, and it’s no wonder! Us Tipper freaks are beyond
ready for his immersive glitch-bass to take us to another Planet.
Don’t miss this freak of a show.

Space Jesus
If you’ve never experienced a filthy set from Jasha Tull, don’t miss
your chance. After recently making the move from Brooklyn to Boulder,
we can only guess he’s going to make this Bloom set extra squishy for
his Colorado family. His experimental bass tracks will satisfy the filthiest of headbangers, and we can only hope that he pulls out a dope B2B collaborator, which he’s pretty much known for at this point… Here’s to getting lucky Bloomers!

Sunsquabi
Who doesn’t love live electronic? Personally, I cannot wait for
Sunsquabi to play their signature hydro-funk for all of us Bloomers
this year. Bringing the love from Boulder, Colorado, these boys
completely slay what they do. Combining their loyal fanbase (the
Squabtrain), Boulder roots and great energy, it’s always a party with
the Squabi boys.

Justin Martin
Dirty Bird artist Justin Martin makes our top 5 because he really knows how to impress a crowd with his dirty hyphy techno beats. Justin really knows how to make a crowd get down. He’s a serious wizard when it comes to morphing genres, so make sure you have your dancing shoes on for this one! Hopefully we get some nu-disco with a little hip hop and to top it off, a nice fat dose of House! Don’t miss out, we promise all the feels at this set.

Bonobo
Simon Green, also known as Bonobo will be bringing his signature and sensual
down-tempo sounds to Bloom, and we’re already dying with anticipation. After revealing promises of a new album later this year, we can only hope for a taste of what this genius has been working on since 2014’s ‘Ten Tigers’ and ‘The Flashlight’. Join us on the dance floor and find out – tickets are moving fast, so don’t say we didn’t warn ya!
