Over here at Compose Yourself Magazine we are thrilled to see the return of Summer Camp: On the Road Tour! Summer Camp Music Festival is searching for the best talent in the Midwest, with the tour hitting cities in Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, Nebraska, and Indiana. Last year Funky Junk, a four piece hailing from Indianapolis, won the tour and played to the Summer Camp crowd. Funky Junk’s name says it’s all this band mixes funk jams with psychedelic undertones that create amazing dance floor vibes.
They are playing this Friday night at The Mousetrap Bar and Grille to fight for their spot this year at Summer Camp. These boys are crushing the Midwest music scene and their funky jams will truly get the party started again this year at Summer Camp! Summer Camp is definitely a festival that shows love to its community by giving artists in the Midwest a chance to perform at such a major event. This also gives Summer Camp the edge to showcase new and local talent that you may not see at other festivals!
