Serenity Gathering is approaching rapidly and its one of the festivals that has us in #DROOLMODE. Over here at Compose Yourself Magazine cannot wait to celebrate the new Pieces moon, which celebrates new beginnings at Serenity Gathering. Serenity is a music and arts festival that is ready to usher in new beginnings in an atmosphere where the energy is very focused on building new experiences. Serenity Gathering describes their festival on their website as, “A conscious gathering focused on creating an environment of positive collaboration among like minded individuals specifically geared towards art and music.” The festival will be on a reservation, La Jolla Indian Campground, about an hour north of San Diego, CA and two hours south of LA. Serenity Gathering just dropped the third installment of their line-up today!
They’ve added big names like Akouo, Pumpkin, Tasty Treat,VibeSquaD, and also some other acts we love like Space Jesus and Proper Motion. We are so excited about all of the additions to this truly unique line up. One thing we love about Serenity Gathering is the variety of artists they bring to the table. In an industry generally dominated by men, Serenity Gathering broke the mold by booking several extremely talented female acts like CloZee and Oriel Poole, whose hypnotic voice in particular can be found on the Thriftworks track ‘Someone’. Serenity Gathering succeeded in stacking an international lineup, with acts hailing from France to British Colombia, totaling artists from 15 countries worldwide.
