#DroolMode: Bear Creek Music Festival [November 13th-16th] Announces Tantalizing New Additions To An Already Stellar Weekend

The only thing that makes us feel better about the end of summer festival season is looking forward to the abundance of homegrown festivals during the fall. One of which we’ve got a big ol’ festie crush on: Bear Creek Music FestivalTaking place in its beautiful home of Spirit of Suwannee Music Park just north of Live Oak, Florida, Bear Creek invites music lovers from across the states to celebrate life, music, culture and art within one of the country’s most breathtaking venues. Cradled by the historic banks of the Suwannee River, attendees will feast their eyes on a gorgeous and hidden retreat that has been held cherished by seasoned festie goers for years.

Refusing to rely purely on the natural beauty of the Suwannee grounds, Bear Creek sets their standards on a whole new scale by offering a plethora of on-site amenities, community-enriching activities and an all around ‘feel-good’ aesthetic. In addition to showers, a general store, a full-service restaurant and the option to rent cabins and golf carts, Bear Creek is prepared to cater to those who know how to festie properly.

Armed with a responsibly partyin’ crowd, a gorgeous venue, and top notch artists of several different genres, it’s easy to see why Bear Creek is high up on our Must Go list this season! A staple of the BCMF community is their yearly canned food drive, benefiting Love INC Food Bank in Live Oak, FL. Bring five cans of non-perishable food items, and receive a commemorative 2014 festival poster, along with that fuzzy feeling that only comes from knowing you’ve helped someone in need!

As if we couldn’t love them more, the latest news from the Bear Creek camp is the announcement of several new lineup additions! Chris Robinson of Black Crowes/Chris Robinson Brotherhood fame will be joining the BCMF roster as a headlining act under Chris Robinson’s Soulive Revue. Hyping BCMF into the hip-hop side of things will be legendary hip hop artist Talib Kweli, who will be joining live sets by both live-tronica duo Break Science as well as Soulive. Adding on to the surplus of funk will be Lettuce/Break Science cohorts Eric Bloom and Ryan Zoidis, who make up the newly formed project The Shady Horns.

For those of you who’ve managed to squeeze every drop out of your last paycheck and are now thirstily awaiting that direct deposit on the 1st,  Bear Creek has graciously extended their tier two ticket prices until midnight on Wednesday, October 1st. Ready, set… GO!
